Waiting for class to start

Am waiting for my professor for Interpreting Wisdom Literature to arrive.
He is ten minutes late.
This is nothing unusual. I have taken 2 J-terms with this professor, and I have had many friends who have taken 3 hour block classes with him. We all agree he is brilliant, and predictably late.
However, this is only an hour and a half long class.
And he goes on tangents.
So... I'm not sure that we'll get through the lesson the syllabus indicates we are to get through today.
I spent my first night at the new place last night. It was good however the street light shines directly into my eyes, which means I woke up about five times last night sure it was morning but it wasn't. So... yeah next paycheck I'm investing in some curtain supplies ;-)
My room mates are all very sweet, but talkative ;-) This means that instead of giving myself the usual 1/2-1 hour time frame to get ready, I need to give myself maybe closer to 2 hours to get ready, just to allow for conversations ;-) And brownie tastings, the partaking of coffee together, exchanging vignettes from work, minor complaints about the electricity going off and searching for the breaker, etc. etc. and so forth.
Professor is now thirteen minutes late.
I was asked to speak about Gypsies last week. There was a missions meeting with a focus on unreached people groups. I finally got to speak in public at school! It was fun, a few people have commented on it since then.
On that note, my professor is here! 17 minutes late :-)
