Last week was midterms. I actually have NO exams this semester, which is beyond amazing in my opinion (and totally unfair in the opinion of most of my friends in college - especially the Apologetics majors who are slaving over philosophical facts and viewpoints, killing themselves with lack of sleep trying to prepare for their exams). The reason being is that my missions professor hates tests as much as students do, and so only gives out killer papers. However, writing is one of my forte's. On the flip side, I had a research paper on India that ended up being over 25 pages to turn in on Monday, and THAT did almost turn my hair gray. It wasn't the writing part, it was trying to find all the flippin' information. India has so many people groups and demographics, the officials in India who are THERE don't even know where to get all the information.
So all that to say, this is a rather lame-o post, however it will have to suffice in assuring my devoted readers that I am in fact still alive and thriving. Next week is fall break. No I am not doing anything particularly fun or adventurous besides work and trying to get some projects that are due at the end of the semester done, however after how busy things have been, I really don't mind it. Some fellow missions girls have plotted to get together on Thursday, and some other girls - also in the missions department - are plotting something for another day.
So between that and the fact that I still haven't watched "Schindler's list" or "Les Misrables" with anyone fun this fall, I should be set as far as fun-ness goes. Yes, I'm easily entertained, but I'm gonna rate that as a good thing :-)
Cheers,
~Princess Ouch~
