Fall and update

So... about that whole... I'm Madmoiselle Lame as far as updating the blog... yeah.
Things have been busy. The latest news is that I have a half-peck of apples sitting on my counter waiting to be turned into pie. The plans are to go to Mrs. Sava's house - who is expecting and may have me be her Doula (excitement!!!) and who is married to my Romanian older-brother here on campus, (no biological relation, merely a mutual adoption by all parties concerned) and fill her in on all the juicy updates of my life, and then also figure out how to save enough apples to also cook at Mrs. Attebury's house, and get updated about her cat and talk about the worship team and have some sort of debate about life in Eastern Europe versus Western Europe (I talk about East she talks about West)
Also trying to figure out all the end of the year homework. Only 3 more weeks of classes then mid-terms. yikes. This semester whizzed by!! I'm actually a little relieved to be done with this semester. Its been fun, but three 400 level classes and then the 250 level class have stretched me. No exams, only huge reports and presentations and projects. I enjoy all of that stuff, just been challenging finding time to get all of that done WELL and work 20 hours a week and not be a complete anti-social recluse. (honestly I couldn't be a recluse if I tried, so it's more finding time to sleep and eat because those are usually the first things to go if it's a choice of them and socializing. Hehe...)
Also talking about what to do for Thanksgiving. I have a couple friends who just got married this year and live far away from home and so won't be going back for Thanksgiving. The ladies will all be 'cooking their first turkey" so we might get together and chill on Turkey Day. The other option is to go up to Ohio with extended family like I did last year. I had fun last year, but I also really enjoy my friends here. Choices choices. So still deciding on that front.
Must dash off to class. Hopefully more updates soon accompanied with pictures, but we'll see how it goes.
